CHP Engine Assemblies
No
one has more experience building custom assemblies than Coast High
Performance. Our engines are installed in thousands
of Replica Kit cars, Street Rods, High Performance Street Cars and all
out Race Cars. Numerous years of research and development have enabled
us to pick the right combination of performance matched components for
the highest possible horsepower output.
Coast High Performance "Street Fighters" are available as Short
Blocks, Long Blocks, or
as the Ultimate Street or Street and Strip Crate Motors. Every
engine is capable of being
run naturally aspirated or fuel injected and is ready for Nitrous,
Blowers and Turbochargers.
Many enthusiasts and racers have specific engine requirements,
horsepower goals or unique power adder combinations that can’t be
addressed with our standard offerings. For these individuals, CHP
offers Engine Kits, short blocks, long blocks and complete engines
designed
for your exact needs.
If you need something a little different from the normal, please
give us a call. Your requirements may include different camshaft
specifications,
ported cylinder heads or intake manifolds, or an all out racing
engine. Our professional staff will spend as much time with you as
is necessary
in order for you to receive an engine that fits your exact needs. |
The GT (Ford) Street Fighters are designed to provide the widest
range of economical performance and reliability. Crankshafts are
cast steel, added to OEM type forged connecting rods, and Probe
forged pistons. Compression ratios are pump gas friendly, and
longevity is made a priority. |
The CHP Street Fighter is a high performance street engine. Cast
Steel crankshafts, forged
connecting rods and lightweight Probe SRS pistons are the norm.
The Street Fighter is comfortable when used with any power adder,
and 500+ horsepower is common. |
Street Fighter "Pro Street"
Cog belt blower,
big power adders, and high RPM are the playground of the Street
Fighter "Pro Street". Featuring forged steel crankshafts,
lightweight forged steel connecting rods, and Probe SRS pistons, the
"Pro Street" is capable of handling extremely high horsepower
levels. They provide an excellent level of reliability in a brutal
environment. |
The Dominator series of Short Block Ford off-the-shelf engines,
feature all the components necessary for an all out race ready
engine. These power packed race ready crate motors are built for
