4340 STEEL CONNECTING RODS
Probe Industries "Ultralight" I-beam forged 4340 Steel
Connecting Rods are designed to provide maximum performance with a minimum
of rotating mass. Probe Industries "Ultralight" Connecting Rods are
painstakingly manufactured from premium 2 piece 4340 steel forgings, which will
insure proper grain flow for maximum strength. "Ultralight" Steel
Rods are then fully machined on the latest in CNC equipment to ensure
dimensional accuracy. Lastly ARP 8740 rod bolts are installed through the
dowelled rod caps.

naturally aspirated drag motor where spinning up quickly is imperative. Also CHP "Ultralight" Steel Rods are a fit for a 2 barrel oval track assembly, or
any other application where high rpm levels are attained.
