A higher pressure bypass spring in a oil pump forces more oil through the engine while a lower pressure spring allows for more oil to be recycled within the pump. This Ford 289- 302 high pressure oil pump spring kit allows you to replace your stock standard pressure spring with one of a higher pressure. Kit includes the cup plug as used in the '69-'70 302 Boss engines. This spring is designed as an upgrade for the M68 standard volume pump.
